PRESS AND REUSE

Research for reuse.

Federal Pay Parity asks government to publish the workforce evidence showing that civilian compensation is adequate for the mission, using the same seriousness it applies to compensation and incentive questions elsewhere.

Five reusable claims

  1. The FAR evaluates compensation realism in certain professional-services procurements because recruiting, retention, continuity, and quality matter.
  2. The 2026 General Schedule increased 1%; July CPI-U rose 3.4% over 12 months. Different measures and periods, presented as context.
  3. The FY2027 military 7/6/5 structure is proposed; the civilian 0% value is a model assumption and final rates remain unsettled.
  4. Most Members of Congress have received $174,000 since 2009.
  5. A fully burdened contractor bill rate is not an employee salary.
